Note:  The following document is an excerpt from a 1987 Fort Sheridan Community Cookbook publication.  The Cookbook Committee of the Officers' Wives Club assembled the publication. The cookbook includes roughly 123 pages of interesting appetizer, entrée, dessert, and miscellaneous recipes, perhaps all contributed by the these wives.  If interest is expressed, perhaps this site will publish a selection of these in the future.
